Jennifer Millbank - Associate

Jennifer Millbank focuses her litigation practice on real estate, municipal, and employment litigation. She is also experienced in the area of administrative law and has been counsel on a number of judicial reviews. She has conducted trials before the British Columbia Supreme Court and has successfully argued matters before the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal. She has acted for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.

Gurdev Holdings Ltd. v. Schmidt, which addressed fraud in a commercial real estate contract,
Jerry Rose Jr. v. The University of British Columbia, which concerned the unusual allegation of mind control by a number of multi-national corporations,
Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee v. Foley, a municipal law case assessing water rights and the doctrine of lawful non-conforming use,

- Read 2008 the Supplementary Reasons for Judgment
Pyrrha Design Inc. v. 623735 Saskatchewan Ltd., which interpreted the Copyright Act, and

Jennifer completed her BA (honours) in Political Science at the University of Victoria in 1997. She subsequently graduated from the University of Victoria Law School in 2001 where she was the recipient of numerous scholarships and awards. Before happily moving to her husband’s hometown of Nanaimo in 2005 and joining Ramsay Lampman Rhodes, Jennifer practiced in Vancouver.
